PYO Strawberries, Broad Beans...and Gooseberries on 1st June!

Our delicious Strawberries (Eros variety) are still available at £3.98/kg for Pick-Your-Own and we are also now picking lovely tender Broad Beans at £1.98/kg PYO. On 1st June we will open our Gooseberries for PYO at £3.40/kg- these are Invicta variety. We also have PYO Sweet Williams at £5.95/kg.

From Wednesday 1st June we are open from 9am- 7pm every day including Sundays- so you can come and visit us in the cool late afternoon on a hot summer's day- or just after work for a some relaxing fresh air and fruit-picking!

Put a note in your diary for the Hampshire Food Festival which is from 1st- 31st July 2011- lots of wonderful foodie events including a free ice cream offer for Durleighmarsh PYO visitors spending £10 or more!

Pick-Your-Own Strawberries have started-hurrah!

We are now open for PYO Strawberries and have started with our delicious Eros variety- price £3.98/kg.The strawberry field is very close to the shop- so not far to walk! It looks a great crop and it's a perfect weekend for strawberry picking! Our Gooseberries and Broad Beans will start later next week.

We are now stocking Scarlet Bakes delicious cookie mix kits so if you are looking for a gift or just something to keep the kids busy with in the kitchen they are perfect!

So come and visit us soon- we are open every day from 9am- 5:30pm.

It's Strawberry Season!

With the early warmer weather our Strawberry crop is starting early this year and we have just started picking our Eros variety Strawberries for the Farm Shop. We will be open for Pick-Your-Own Strawberries from Saturday 21st May! We still have a good crop of Asparagus and will continue harvesting it for sale in our Farm Shop until the traditional date of June 21st.

All our other crops are doing well.... and Gooseberries and Broad Beans may well be ready later in May ... so watch this space!!

Asparagus Season Now in Full Swing!

With our earliest ever Asparagus season now truly underway, we now have delicious bundles of Asparagus available in the Farm Shop at £2.80 per 454g bundle or 2 bundles for £5! We also sell a delicious Hollandaise Sauce made by our friends at The Condiment Company- a fantastic accompaniment to the King of Vegetables!

We also have Rhubarb and Purple Sprouting Broccoli and have started PYO of these crops for those wanting to enjoy a Spring Walk! ( There is the added bonus of seeing the Plum and Cherry Orchard in blossom as well!)

We are open 9-5:30 every day including Sundays.

Asparagus! Hurrah!!

Today we picked the first of our delicious Asparagus- a record early year for us due to the very warm Spring weather. As it is the first pick, we are currently selling it loose and un-graded at £4.25/kg and we will have bunches and baskets later next week.

We also have PYO Rhubarb and Purple Sprouting Broccoli- not quite so exciting but also delicious!

Our Farm Shop is open 91m-5:30 pm every day so come and see us soon!

Spring is in the Air!

Well, Spring is really on the way now and at Durleighmarsh Farm we are busy with ploughing and planting.

With possibly only a few weeks to go until our delicious Asparagus starts, we are looking forward to another bumper crop! Our earliest start date for Asparagus is April 9th.... but our latest start date is 2nd May..... it all depends on the weather and in particular, the soil temperature. So watch this space for news. We hope to start picking our early Strawberries by the end of May Bank Holiday so there is lots to look forward to!

We have just started picking our Rhubarb and also have some Curly Kale and Cabbages in the Farm Shop at the moment. With delicious local fare including Rother Valley Organic Meat, smoked fish from Weald Smokery and wonderful cakes from Farmhouse Cookery and Country Cakes, Jersey cream and ice-cream from Meadow Cottage Farm, there is plenty to enjoy before our PYO season and Asparagus season starts!

We are open Monday to Saturday 9 am till 5pm and Sundays from 9am to 1pm and from Sunday 3rd April we are open 9-5:3o every day!

Warm up in Winter!

Hello! Our Farm Shop has lots of delicious fare to keep you warm in Winter- pies, quiches, home-made soups, cakes and desserts! We also sell bags of logs and kindling and take orders for log deliveries.

Warm yourself up making delicious marmalade with seville oranges which we now have in the Farm Shop....... marmalade making is a sure way of banishing the January "blues"!

Our Farm Shop is open Monday- Saturday 9-5pm and Sundays from 9-1pm so come and see us soon!

Christmas is Coming.......!!!

With the change of the clocks and the darker evenings, thought are starting to turn towards Christmas! So..... we are now taking orders for local Organic Free Range Turkeys, Geese and Capons from lovely Hyden Farm! We also have lots of delicious Christmas goodies in our Farm Shop including chocolates, cakes , tins of festive biscuits, liquers, preserves , chutneys and lots more!

Our Farm Shop is now open Monday- Saturday 9-5pm and Sundays 9-1pm. (In December we will open from 9-4pm on Sundays!)

Pumpkin and Squash Season!

We have now harvested our wonderful Pumpkin and Squash and have a fantastic display on the patio of our Farm Shop. With over 30 varieties of Pumpkin and Squash including Acorn, Crown Prince. Butternut, Onion, Carnival and Little Gem as well as a lovely selection of ornamental gourds, we have something for everyone- including carving Pumpkins for Hallowe'en!

We aslo stil have PYO Autumn Raspberries, Blackberries, Runner Beans , Beetroot and Carrots.

Our Farm Shop and PYO are open every day from 9am-5:30pm so come and visit us soon!

Victoria Plums and lots more!

Our delicious Victoria Plums are now ready for PYO at £1.60/kg so come along and pick for jam-making and freezing! We also have lots of Blueberries, Autumn Raspberries, Blackberries, French and Runner Beans,Sweetcorn, Courgettes and Beetroot.
We are open from 9am till 7pm every day so make the most of the bumper harvest and enjoy an afternoon picking in our scenic PYO fields and orchards.
In our Farm Shop we also have a lovely range of local produce including Farmhouse Cakes, desserts, cheeses, organic meat, smoked fish, local ice-cream and Jersey cream. wines and ciders.
