Bank Holiday Weekend Update

Apologies if you have been trying to call us today..our phone line was brought down in the storm last night and it has taken all day to restore it!
  We still do not have a working credit card machine as the power surge due to lightning strike has damaged the machine and we will not receive  a new machine until Wednesday! So it is cash only until then,,apologies!
   We still have our delicious Asparagus in the Farm Shop and currently have graded bundles and kitchen baskets...however we cannot guarantee we will have baskets at all times so do ring us to check and we will update you!
   In the PYO we have a fantastic crop of Broad Beans at £2.60/kg and our Strawberries will be ready later this week.
  We are open every day over the Bank Holiday weekend from 9 am -5:30 pm and from Thursday 1st June we are open every day from 9 am-7 pm.

Pick Your Own Broad Beans!

We have now started our PYO Broad Beans at £2.60 kg...really tender and sweet. We still have Asparagus and Rhubarb in the Farm Shop and we are open every day from 9 am-5:30 pm.
Not long until Strawberries and Gooseberries are ready...watch this space!

Asparagus Season!

We now have bundles of our lovely Asparagus as well as loose field grade Asparagus for sale in the Farm Shop. We also have our own Rhubarb available as well as a lovely range of local produce including Jake's Pork Pies, Farmhouse Cookery cakes and quiches and ready meals from Alexandra's Kitchen.
 Over the May Bank Holiday we are open as normal at the weekend from 9-5:30 and on Bank Holiday Monday we are open from 10-5:30.

Asparagus has now started! Hurrah!

We have now started picking our delicious Asparagus and have the very first of the harvest in the Farm Shop now! Currently the Asparagus is loose field grade at £7.95/kg and we will have bundles and kitchen grade later next week when grading starts.
 We also have our own Rhubarb in the Farm Shop.

February Update!

It may be cold outside but in our Farm Shop we have have lots of lovely local food to warm you up! Delicious pies from the Real Pie Company, organic meat from Rother Valley, delicious cakes from Farmhouse Cookery and Country Cakes and lots more!
  We also sell bags of logs, kindling and coal and take orders for loads of logs from our local supplier.
   Outside in the PYO we are busy pruning, weeding and generally getting ready for the Summer season. We have planted some our Broad Bean crops and are now waiting for the ground to dry up before the Spring planting starts.
And don't forget that all year round Andy Johnson's Fish Stall is in our Farm Shop car park with fresh local fish Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11-2pm.
The Farm Shop is open Monday -Saturday 9-5pm and Sundays 9-1 pm and the Tea Barn is open Tuesday to Saturday 10-5 and Sundays 10-4.

Autumn and Winter Opening Hours

We are now open from 9-5pm Monday to Saturday and 9-1 pm on Sundays.
We still have pumpkins and squash at the Farm Shop as well as seasonal vegetables and a wide range of local produce including cakes, desserts, organic meat, smoked fish, chutneys and preserves.
We are also now taking orders for Christmas Turkeys, Geese and Capons from Hyden Farm.

We have now started our PYO Sweetcorn at 60p per cob and also still have lots of delicious Autumn Raspberries as well as Blackberries, Runner Beans, Courgettes and Marrows.
 We are open 9-5:30 every day (Tea Barn is closed Mondays)

Apple Press now available.....make your own juice!

Our Apple Press is now up and running for the Autumn so why not collect those windfalls and call us on 01730 821626 to book a slot to use our apple press?
 In the PYO we now have masses of Autumn Raspberries, Runner Beans Courgettes and Marrows. Our Damsons have nearly finishes now...not a big crop this year.

September Update..change of opening hours and Crop Update

Our new opening hours are 9-5:30 every day and we still have PYO Autumn Raspberries, Runner Beans, French Beans, Courgettes and Marrows. We also have some Blackberries and the last of our Blueberries.
Don't forget Andy Johnson's Fish Van is in our Farm Shop car park Wednesdays and Saturdays 11-2pm with delicious fresh fish!
